FREEPORT, Grand Bahama – In an effort to enhance infrastructure and ensure the safety of all commuters, we would like to inform the General Public that the main access road leading into Freeport Harbour will be temporarily closed for repairs, effective February 6, 2024.

This temporary closure is a crucial step in the ongoing commitment to maintaining and improving the transportation route for our community, ensuring a smoother and more reliable experience for all users.

During this period, the alternate route adjacent to the main access road has been carefully selected to minimize disruptions and inconvenience to the public while ensuring continued access to and from the Harbour.

We kindly request the cooperation and understanding of our taxi drivers, residents, businesses, truckers, and all commuters during this temporary rerouting/closure.  Additionally, we encourage individuals to plan their journeys accordingly.
