Hutchison Ports FHC and Hutchison Ports FCP partnered with the Government of The Bahamas through the provision of industrial grade gloves in support of the upcoming ‘Grand Bahama Clean’ initiative which will provide jobs for 100 young people in the community in an extensive clean-up project for downtown Freeport.
The first phase of this public-private partnership, launched through the Ministry for Grand Bahama, is intended to engage community members in the clearing of debris within the city of Freeport, simultaneously beautifying the island and providing short-term employment opportunities.
Making the donation on behalf of Hutchison Ports Bahamas was Sherry Brookes, Director of Government and Corporate Affairs, Malvese Capron, Director of Human Resources, Hutchison Ports FCP and Angelo Lockhart, President, FCP Employee Council.
